Current thinking worldwide around solar technology has focussed on two approaches for overcoming the fragile and inflexible nature of cells. A) Encase the cells inside heavy encapsulant materials such as glass or plastic – often degrading the performance of the cells. B) Develop lighter and more flexible cell technologies – that require additional reinforcement when applying these thin films to products.

Praxis Labs does not need to encase cells inside heavy and fixed-size panels to protect them from damage. It does not need solar cells to be lighter or more flexible to be suitable for integration. Praxis Labs is not waiting for advancements in solar technology. It has not designed just another workaround.

Praxis Labs has designed Structural Solar, a fibre-reinforced integration process that makes fragile cells as strong as you want them to be. A reinforcement process that makes brittle silicon cells flexible. A reinforcement process that makes paper thin Gallium Arsenide super tough.
